BizBash Names Rayna Katz As New Senior Editor

New York, NY—June 1, 2017—Beth Kormanik, BizBash executive editor, announced today that Rayna Katz has been named senior editor of BizBash (www.bizbash.com), the leading trade media for event and meeting professionals. Katz joined BizBash from commercial real estate website GlobeSt.com and Real Estate Forum magazine, where she spent four years as New York and hotels editor.

Katz has tremendous experience in the meeting and convention world after covering the event sister business for more than 20 years. She spent 13 years at Meeting News, ending her tenure as executive editor before moving on to freelance work. Katz additionally served as content director of news and features at Meetings Focus and has penned pieces for major news outlets across North America, including the Daily News, NY Post, am New York, Hotel News Now,and IAEE's E2 magazine. She is a proud graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, which has been ranked “among the top communication schools in the nation,” according to Forbes.com in their 2017 ranking profile.
