BizBash Names Anna Sekula As Executive Editor

New York, NY—March 7, 2013—David Adler, C.E.O. and founder of BizBash, the leading trade media for event and meeting organizers and event marketers, announced that Anna Sekula has been named executive editor of BizBash, taking over management duties from Chad Kaydo, who will remain with BizBash as editor at large.

Anna Sekula has been with BizBash for nine years and has been responsible for everything from event coverage to major concept stories in print and online. Anna is well-known throughout the event industry and attends and reports on hundreds of events annually. In her new role, she will manage a team of journalists, art directors, researchers, and bureau chiefs in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Las Vegas, Miami, and Washington, D.C.

“I am excited for Anna Sekula’s new role at BizBash. Having been mentored by Chad Kaydo for almost a decade, she has the skill set and industry knowledge to guide the BizBash editorial team in the years to come,” says BizBash C.E.O. and founder David Adler.

After more than 12 years at BizBash, Chad Kaydo is leaving his position as editor in chief and will remain with BizBash as editor at large. “I’m ready to try some new things, and I’m excited to see how Anna and the rest of the team will build on the foundation we’ve created together,” Kaydo says. Chad will continue to contribute to BizBash with his industry knowledge and event style insight, which have become a BizBash staple.
