BizBash Opens Nominations for 2011 New York Readers' Choice Awards

New York—August 8, 2011—David Adler, C.E.O. and founder of BizBash Media, announced the opening of nominations for the 2011 BizBash New York Readers’ Choice Awards. The Readers’ Choice Awards program enables event and meeting professionals to highlight the industry’s superstars over the last year. The awards span 11 categories: Association/Nonprofit Event Planner of the Year, Caterer of the Year, Corporate Event Planner of the Year, DJ of the Year, Entertainment Act of the Year, Event Designer of the Year, Event Producer of the Year, Event Promoter of the Year, Publicist/PR Executive of the Year, Social Event Planner of the Year, and Venue Manager of the Year.

The public can nominate their fellow event pros at until August 22. Once all nominations are in, voting will commence on September 19 and remain open until October 16 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. Winners will be announced in an award ceremony at the BizBash New York Expo & Awards on October 19 at the Javits Center in New York. To date, more than 85,000 votes have been cast in similar programs in New York, Florida, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
