BizBash Announces the 2011 BizBash West Event Style Award Winners
Winners include the Governors Balls for both the Emmys and the
Pasadena—June, 15, 2011—BizBash, the trade magazine, Web site, and resource for the event planning industry, announced the winners of the 2011 BizBash West Event Style Awards at a ceremony held at the BizBash Expo on Tuesday, June 14, at the Pasadena Convention Center.
A panel of event industry professionals that included planners, suppliers, and BizBash editors selected the winners in each category. Awards were presented in 15 categories, including Best Corporate Event Concept, Best Invitation Design, Best Lighting Design, Best New Venue, and Best Fresh Idea.
Society Awards (society-awards.com) created elegant “B” awards for the event, made of clear crystal against black glass atop a black marble base.
The award presentation was attended by top event and meeting professionals and vendors in the event industry, including caterers, audiovisual companies, lighting and sound companies, venue managers, and decor and design companies.
