NEW YORK-October 5, 2009-BizBash (www.bizbash.com), the trade magazine and Web site for the event planning industry, announced the finalists for the eighth annual New York Event Style Awards, to be presented during the BizBash Expo on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. Finalists were selected by a panel of event industry professionals. Awards will be presented in 18 categories, including Best Corporate or Association Event Concept, Best Nonprofit Event Concept, Best Invitation Design, Best Catering at an Event, Best New Venue, Best Video, and Best Fresh Idea.

The award presentation is attended by top corporate event and meeting professionals, as well as marketers and vendors in the event industry, including caterers, audiovisual companies, lighting and sound companies, venue managers, and decor and design companies.
