Wednesday night, the "Pure Rendezvous" brought in a crowd of event and meeting industry folks in town for IMEX America for a night of networking (and, after a busy couple of days on the conference floor, drinking) at Pure at Caesars Palace. The event served as a benefit for Meeting Professionals International's M.P.I. Foundation. Prior to the doors opening at 10 p.m., four private invitation-only events took place in the nightclub space, which was closed to the public for the night: one for IMEX America on the rooftop terrace amid the mild night air, one for Hyatt Hotels at Pure Lounge, one for Universal Orlando in the Red Room, and one for the M.P.I. Foundation in the White Room. Each area offered a different experience with its own DJ (Joey Mazzola, Duane King, Slip, and Konnex, respectively). Live performances in the White Room and on the main stage came from Toronto native Suzie McNeil, and the event got audiovisual and production support from Encore Productions.
