There’s no doubt technology has made our lives easier, but managing all of it can be incredibly cumbersome and time-consuming. Just watch someone at the airport “move seamlessly” (read: fumble) between their smartphone, tablet, laptop, and now, smartwatch.
The same inconveniences exist for event organizers, juggling different technologies to help them plan, promote, and manage their events.
With countless new event-enhancing products (customized name badges, live surveys, etc.), the true challenge for event organizers is finding which products improve their events, and then getting all of those pieces to work together.
To help organizers overcome that challenge, online ticketing and registration platform Eventbrite recently launched Eventbrite Spectrum. After finding that more than a third of its customers connect to at least one other application for their events, Eventbrite partnered with more than 130 products to create Eventbrite Spectrum—enabling organizers to tap into their favorite apps directly from the Eventbrite dashboard. With as few as two or three clicks, organizers can use services such as badge printers, email marketing services like MailChimp, and social promotion platforms in Hootsuite. Even better, they can share their data seamlessly.
Here are just a few of the tasks made easier with extensions found in Eventbrite Spectrum:
- Sync event and attendee information with a number of customer relationship management and email services such as MailChimp, Salesforce, Pardot, and Eloqua
- Sell tickets directly from your Facebook page
- Sell tickets directly from websites hosted on WordPress
- Embed speaker bios and photos into event pages with Sched
- Sync event attendee lists with event mobile app providers like DoubleDutch.
Using Eventbrite Spectrum, organizers will not only save time managing various event technologies, but they can also take advantage of different features to make their events more powerful than ever before.
