The Colorful Kitchen Pop-Up kicked off in NYC July 17-18, stopped in Chicago July 23, and will be in Los Angeles July 28. The consumer activation showcases Primal Kitchen’s products along with the current food and kitchen trends popping up on Pinterest.
Visitors can sample dip and snack pairings based on the trends that feature Primal Kitchen’s core products (Ranch Dressing, Original Mayo, Buffalo Sauce, and Avocado Oil) and new offerings (Chicken Dippin' Sauce and Yum Yum Sauce), plus learn cooking tips and hacks. Content creators Carolina Gelen, Jeri Mobley, and Hailee Catalano are also on hand in different cities.
“With searches for ‘clean food’ and ‘summer dips and appetizers’ surging, now is the perfect time to turn these digital conversations into meaningful, in-person experiences,” explained Ana Goettsch, Primal Kitchen’s head of marketing, about the synergistic partnership. She added that the Colorful Kitchen Pop-Up is Pinterest’s first partnership in the food space.
The social media platform has ramped up its experiential marketing plans, teaming up with various brands as of late, including a recent activation with Urban Outfitters.
The vibrant kitchen setting features examples of top Pinterest trends creatively woven throughout. There’s a faux-fridge entry with “Trending on Pinterest” magnets, scannable QR codes that tie to social trends, and an avocado mailbox stuffed with recipe cards.
