The 80's are back and influencing current pop culture—think Justin Timberlake's Michael Jackson-esque dance moves and spray-painted T-shirts—and nonprofit Safe Space captured this trend at its annual benefit at Capitale. Break-dancers from Full Circle Souljahs performed for the crowd of twentysomethings and thirtysomethings while DJs from Rhythm Collective rotated 80's dance music—Jackson's “Beat It” really energized the crowd—for the guests who packed the dance floor.
