Ocean Prime opened its second restaurant on August 9 in Aventura. Modeled after the upscale supper clubs of the 1950s, the 8,500-square-foot venue is the first step in a nationwide expansion by Ohio-based restaurateur Cameron Mitchell, which will include restaurants in Orlando, Tampa, and Scottsdale, Arizona.
The restaurant offers an outside patio for 60 and two private rooms for events, with one capable of seating 14, and the other as many as 32 guests. Forty-inch flat-screen TVs can also be found in both of the private rooms.
The new eatery is open for lunch and dinner and features a menu from executive chef Tony Dee. Ocean Prime is also happy to make special menus for events, will allow audiovisual companies on site, and is available for buyouts.
