1. Adam Lippes for Target Preview
In August, to preview its collaboration with designer Adam Lippes, Target turned a rooftop garden in New York into a picnic setting where items from the limited-edition collection set the scene.

2. Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts Media Reception
The hotel brand’s media reception at Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills in June offered globally inspired food and drink, including mini margarita shots.
3. Hermès Parfumerie Floral Installation
The French luxury goods house opened its first parfumerie in New York in September. To mark the occasion—and grab the attention of busy passersby—Hermès hung single-stem flowers upside down along the street outside the store.
4. Straight Outta Compton Premiere Party
The last major film debut of the summer was the world premiere of Straight Outta Compton on August 10 in Los Angeles. For the premiere party on the Event Deck at L.A. Live, black and white vintage photos of the characters in the biopic served as the backdrop for the bars.

5. Adam Lippes for Target Preview
Also at the Target preview in New York, producer David Stark decorated 620 Loft & Garden's pool with topiaries in the shape of the retailer's bull's-eye logo.

6. Ocean Spray's 85th Anniversary and Pre-Thanksgiving Luncheon
In early November, Ocean Spray built its own bog in New York, filling a space in the middle of Rockefeller Center with 900,000 cranberries.

7. Honest Company and Target Anniversary Celebration
To celebrate the first anniversary of the Honest Company’s availability at Target, the brands partnered on a party in Los Angeles in April where the floral backdrop of a bar was emblazoned with the phrase “honestly refreshing.”
8. H&M's Sunset Cocktails at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival
In a significant departure from the big bash it has thrown in previous years, H&M hosted an intimate reception at Coachella in April and served summery hors d'oeuvres like skewers of mint, feta, and watermelon.

9. John Varvatos Spring 2016 Menswear Show
A canopy of umbrellas covered the ceiling of the John Varvatos fashion show in July, part of the first New York Fashion Week: Men's.

10. Sterling Engagements' 10th Anniversary Party
To celebrate its milestone anniversary, the event design and production company hosted a Los Angeles party in September, where copious catering options included a milk-and-cookies dessert bar.

At the welcome reception for Oracle’s conference in Las Vegas in March, the Venetian and Palazzo provided dessert stations that included items like waffle cone peanut butter s’mores.

12. Friends of the Hudson River Park Gala
Leafy branches covering the ceiling formed eye-catching, fall-inspired decor at the October gala for the nonprofit in New York.
13. HBO's Emmys After-Party
At HBO's party for the Primetime Emmys in September, real fire was a decorative element, showcased on the 24-foot-long reflecting ponds outside the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles.

14. Heinz's "Ketchup’s Got A New Mustard" Event
At an April media launch for Heinz's new yellow mustard, Peter Callahan Catering's test kitchen was turned into a backyard barbecue. A buffet table covered in faux grass included hollowed-out condiment bottles that held tomatoes and onions.

15. Ocean Spray 85th Anniversary and Pre-Thanksgiving Luncheon
For Ocean Spray's pre-Thanksgiving activation in New York, Tyger Productions placed a 32-foot-long table inside a cranberry bog.

16. Honest Company and Target Anniversary Celebration
At Honest Company’s celebration with Target in April in Los Angeles, decor by Caravents included subtle branding like a bike tricked out with Target logos and flowers.
17. Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party
The entrance to the Oscars event hosted by Sir Elton John and David Furnish in Los Angeles was dressed with purple draping and disco balls.

18. The Simpsons Kwik-E-Mart Food Truck at South by Southwest
To grab attention at this year's SXSW in Austin, Fox created a food truck version of the convenience store from the cartoon The Simpsons, handing out free “Squishees,” to passersby.

19. Seaport Studios Launch
In June, Seaport Studios, a concept store with wares from emerging designers, had a fashion-forward launch in New York. Mary Giuliani Catering & Events catered the event, which included a colorful array of dips, spreads, and toppings arrayed on a double-sided buffet.
20. Supper 34
In November, Purity Vodka and UrbanDaddy hosted 34 “tastemakers” at a private dinner in the Penthouse at the Hotel on Rivington in New York. The number of guests reflected the number of times the vodka is distilled. The evening paired dishes with cocktails made from the vodka, and the minimalistic decor featured a mirrored table, ghost chairs, and small arrangements of tulips.
