Web Standalone

Registration is now open for the 2012 BizBash IdeaFest at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York on October 24.

More than 3,000 event and meeting professionals are expected to convene at the BizBash IdeaFest to walk the trade show floor of industry exhibits from venues, rental companies, caterers, entertainment firms, and other types of industry suppliers, as well as industry organizations.

One new component of the show will be the Event Innovation Forum, a conference curated by Chad Kaydo, editor in chief of BizBash, and Howard Givner, executive director of the Event Leadership Institute. It will include a series of presentations with experts from inside and outside the event and meeting industry. Kaydo and Givner announced today that presenters will include event designer and producer David Stark, Scott Schenker of SAP, Noelle Provencial of Groupon, Karl Vontz of the Clios, Robin Adelson of the Children's Book Council, Howard Singer of Highline Capital, and John Schwartz of EventQuest.

The Event Leadership Institute will also present a Masters’ Program for event and meeting planners looking to grow their planning companies. The Event Design Lab will give attendees hands-on design experience, working with flowers, rental pieces, linens, and other design elements to create tabletops for fictional clients.

Additional elements of the show will be announced in the coming weeks. Attendees can register for the BizBash IdeaFest and the Event Innovation Forum now at bizbash.com/ideafestny.
