The Capitol Theatre
The Capitol Theatre is a rock palace fit for any event. The theater has hosted concerts by legends such as the Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin and Pink Floyd. Recently, the venue underwent a multi-million dollar renovation, featuring state-of-the-art sound, projection and lighting equipment that creates an unparalleled event experience. The room boasts a 65-foot domed ceiling, flexible standing or seated floor, elegant lobbies and a breathtaking balcony. Garcia’s a spacious new lobby bar and event space of it’s own, is complete with stage, vaulted sky lights and in-house sound and lighting. In 2012, the theater re-opened with legendary poet Bob Dylan as the first performer to play the new stage. Recent concert highlights include Tom Petty, Phil Lesh, The Avett Brothers, Iggy Pop, Chris Cornell, Indigo Girls and legendary guitarist Jeff Beck.
