Truffled Eggs to Go

The Meeting Professionals International Greater New York (MPIGNY) chapter's MPIGNY Hits It Big on Wall Street event at the Regent Wall Street had some interesting hors d'oeuvres. The hotel-catered event featured warm truffled egg custards with wild mushrooms that were served in hollowed-out egg shells. The caterwaiter carried them in a box from Fondo di Alba, an Italian truffle company whose products are imported by Massachusetts-based Sid Wainer & Son.
