VENUE: Blue Fin's Window on Times Square

The latest in Steve Hanson's seafood empire is Blue Fin, the in-house restaurant at the new W New York -- Times Square. Designed by Canadian firm Yabu Pushelberg, the gigantic two-story, 400-seat space features an all-glass exterior facing Broadway, where the entrance opens to a small bar with white stools and glowing pink resin cocktail tables. The dining rooms offer sleek wood floors, pillars and tables, and clean white chairs. A separate sushi bar stands just under the white terrazzo staircase that leads to an even larger second floor dining room and three smaller private dining rooms that can accommodate events for 16 to 100.
