VENUE: Casual Fusion at Remedy

October 7, 2002, 12:00 AM EDT

Comfy, casual chic is the goal at Remedy, a new restaurant and lounge in the Flatiron district. Designed by architect Steven Chang (who also did the Asian-influenced Nong) and interior designer Yoon Cho, the eclectic space has 18th-century wood banquettes, a wrought iron gate, antique chandeliers and a disco ball. The restaurant, which serves Asian fusion cuisine, can seat 75, and the basement level Sake Therapy Lounge can seat 20. —Suzanne Ito
