3. 'NASHVILLE' STARS PLAN CONCERT TOUR: As Glee proved, live events can be lucrative extensions of music-theme TV shows. ABC announced on Monday that several stars of the show Nashville will go on a three-city tour this spring. The Hollywood Reporter: “The tour will be presented by the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp. and produced by Opry Entertainment Group. The tour marks the latest potential revenue stream from the drama. … The series, from Lionsgate Television and ABC Studios, has already released multiple music compilation albums featuring the original music performed on the show.
