Where Magazines Are Toasting Themselves

Also on the holiday party beat this week is Women’s Wear Daily, which contributes this report on where various magazines are throwing their end-of-the-year bashes. A few highlights:

Jane’s invitation—to a party in Williamsburg—pictures a woman riding an electronic bull. (As the magazine’s ads say, that’s so Jane.)

Conde Nast siblings Allure and GQ are both using Double Seven in the meatpacking district, while P.J. Clarke’s will host both Best Life and Vanity Fair. (The surprise here is that Graydon Carter won’t take the VF staff to the Waverly Inn.)

While Hearst Magazines is skipping its traditional party at Tavern on the Green to drink at home in its new Midtown HQ, C.E.O. Cathleen Black gave out Tiffany frames and iPod Shuffles at a five-course executive dinner on November 29.
