Garden Benefit Has Icy Look

Decked out in tuxes and shimmery gowns, guests who headed all the way to the Bronx for the New York Botanical Garden's Winter Wonderland benefit got an eyeful of icy-looking decor inside the tented dining area. Bill Tansey of Tansey Design Associates draped tables with silver lamé shag tablecloths and chairs with silver sequin fabric, and white orchids suspended in vases filled with clear gel served as centerpieces. Frost Lighting washed the space with a cool, violet light.
