CAMDEN, NJ: The Hilton Garden Inn Camden Waterfront opens Dec. 4; it’s the first hotel to open in the South Jersey city in over 50 years. The 180-room hotel has 4,100 square feet of multiuse space with projection screens and 65-inch smart TVs, plus an executive board room and a ballroom that holds as many as 240 people.

NEW YORK: ReedPop has retired BookExpo, the U.S. publishing industry’s largest trade show. The show, along with BookCon and Unbound, will not be held in 2021 after being canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19.
