US: DoubleTree by Hilton Unveils Allergy-Friendly Welcome Cookie, Shake Shack’s Pickleball Club Chicago, The Business Show Comes to the US, and More

NATIONAL: DoubleTree by Hilton unveiled an allergy-friendly version of its signature chocolate chip cookie. It is non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free, and free from the top nine allergens (wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, soy, fish, sesame, and shellfish). Upon check-in, guests will have the option to choose from DoubleTree by Hilton’s original cookie or its allergen-free one in an effort to continue to provide guests with a warm welcome.

BOSTON: Meet Boston, formerly the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau, shifted its membership model to a partnership model this past spring, and 75 partners have joined since. The six-pillar model was created to expand Meet Boston’s partnership network to businesses and attractions of all sizes. Its long-standing programs have been supplemented with new initiatives like quarterly educational programming and workshops that are centered on key industry needs and wants.

CHICAGO: Shake Shack Pickleball Club Chicago is an immersive pickleball experience that will benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository. On Sunday, Aug. 20, guests of all ages are invited to Maggie Daley Park to experience various skill clinics and a round-robin tournament. Tickets are available for purchase online, with 25% of proceeds going directly to the Greater Chicago Food Depository and its cause of protecting the community from hunger.

LAS VEGAS: Both Womenswear in Nevada and Las Vegas Apparel will be co-located at The Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas in 2024, to create a resource-filled and amenities-driven experience for shoppers as part of Las Vegas Fashion Week. Together, they will present over 500 brands designed to cater to the needs of buyers and sellers.

LOS ANGELES: The first U.S. edition of The Business Show will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center Sept. 20-21. With over 300 exhibitors, 150 seminars, live panel debates, and interactive master classes, the show is designed to help entrepreneurs prepare themselves with the tools and knowledge to start their businesses. Keynote speakers will include representatives from major companies like Google and Microsoft.
