On November 8 and 9, the W Times Square hosted a two-day performance by Cherub for a promotion it dubbed the Human Jukebox. Set up in various areas around the hotel, the electro-pop duo played tunes guests requested via Twitter by tagging posts to the brand and the band with the #WHumanJukeBox hashtag. Guests could also request a private performance via room service or ask for a wake-up call from the band. As an additional incentive for consumers to participate, the Starwoods Hotels property offered to donate $5 to the American Red Cross's Hurricane Sandy relief efforts for each of the first 100 tweet requests.

Songs on the Human Jukebox menu included Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," Frankie Valli's "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You," Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe," and Oasis's "Wonderwall," with Jepsen's and Lauper's tunes as the most popular. A total of 102 tweets used the hashtag.
