Blueprint Studios, a full-service event and trade show production firm, recently wowed the tech-astute crowd at VMworld 2015 when it debuted a disruptive leap forward in trade show booth design.
The event, which brings together IT technical professionals and IT business decision-makers to immerse themselves in the latest in virtualization and cloud technology, was the perfect place for this innovative installation. Comprised of transposable units of up-cycled blond wood panels, dark metals, and spires topped with artisan Edison bulbs, the airy structure was a standout amongst the more conventional booths. Fusing a decidedly earthy flair with sleek, contemporary furnishings and integrated digital media, its striking looks were the initial draw for the conference attendees. But ultimately, the real beauty of this design is in its functionality.
The modular booth is made up of magnetically charged components that can be configured to create endless options and uniquely moldable environments. A revolution in trade show installation and booth design, the technique paves the way for entirely portable environments. It fosters mobile messaging at its most responsive and buildable branding in its most flexible form.
“We wanted to create something that would be a game changer in the industry, that would inspire innovation and collaboration,” said Mircea Manea, principal designer at Blueprint Studios. “The fact that it is entirely mobile and customizable achieves this ideal.”
This breakthrough embodies the essence of versatility and thinking “outside the box.”
It also considerably simplifies and expedites construction and consequently makes post-event striking a much more streamlined process. All of this efficiency and reusability translates into a smaller carbon footprint, a core value for many leading tech corporations.
