These 15 properties pair flexible event space with access to standout wellness and athletic facilities, making it easier than ever to incorporate movement into long days of meetings—or plan a group-friendly teambuilding activity that goes beyond the usual icebreakers.

Caribe Royale Orlando blends resort-style relaxation with ample opportunities for fitness and group recreation, making it an ideal destination for active meetings and events. The boutique property is set within the world-class Midtown Athletic Club (pictured), giving guests access to a full range of amenities including 200+ classes per week at its seven group fitness studios, ranging from HIIT fitness and boxing to yoga and pilates. Aside from the group classes, guests can also utilize over 14,000 square feet of training space complete with free weights, resistance machines, and cardio equipment for a DIY workout. Open since May 2023 is the Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa, the new home of the PGA Headquarters. A partnership with PGA of America and the City of Frisco, the resort is, unsurprisingly, a leading destination for golf; it features two 18-hole championship golf courses designed by Beau Welling and Gil Hanse. Additionally, the resort features a lighted 10-hole short course and two-acre putting green, plus Lounge by Topgolf, a PGA Frisco Coaching Center, and a practice facility anchored by a clubhouse and entertainment district. The resort plays host to the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, plus 26 additional championships scheduled in Frisco through 2034, including two PGA Championship events and the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Also on site? Five-hundred guest rooms and suites, plus 10 four-bedroom ranch houses, each with views of the golf courses. There's also 12 dining outlets, three pools, and 127,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.

The property’s 25,000-square-foot Sedona Athletic Club is reserved for guests 18 and older and includes lighted tennis and pickleball courts, a motion studio, a 25-meter lap pool, a fitness room, and the HIIT Pit for high-intensity training. One standout feature is the Outdoor Warrior Pit—a cross-training space equipped with tires, ropes, sledgehammers, and anchors, where guests can join weekly boot camp-style classes or train independently. With over 35 weekly group fitness classes ranging from yoga to more intensive workouts, there are options for all levels. The resort also features a 25,000-square-foot spa and more than 25,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor event space, including 12 meeting rooms—three of them ballrooms—and settings framed by the Coconino National Forest.

Why meet in a ballroom when you can meet where champions train? With its tennis courts, golf courses, dedicated sports training complex, and on-site pickleball, Saddlebrook Resort is basically a full-scale athletic campus designed for teams and groups looking to incorporate movement, competition, and camaraderie. The resort has 43 tennis courts, eight pickleball courts, a driving range, golf courses, a high-performance training center, fitness facilities, and the iconic Harry Hopman Tennis Academy, which has trained champions like Martina Hingis and Andy Roddick. It’s also home to the global headquarters of the Professional Tennis and Pickleball Registries, and soon a new multicourt padel facility. Set on a lush 480-acre nature preserve just outside Tampa, Fla., the 495-room hotel has 95,000 square feet of flexible event space.

The 212-room Equinox Hotel New York, located in Manhattan’s Hudson Yards, offers a wellness-focused stay anchored by its impressive fitness amenities. Guests receive complimentary access to the 60,000-square-foot Equinox Fitness Club, featuring a range of group classes—from HIIT to yoga to Barre—as well as personal training and on-site wellness professionals, including health and sleep coaches. The hotel also boasts year-round access to two rooftop pools: a 25-yard indoor saltwater lap pool and a heated outdoor pool (pictured) with city views, complete with barrel saunas in the colder months. In the guest rooms, integrated technology allows visitors to control lighting, temperature, blinds, and privacy settings via digital tablets. For events, the property includes private event space with terrace access and a private dining room equipped with noise cancellation and an open kitchen.

In partnership with Recess Pickleball—a go-to brand for luxurious, colorful paddles, balls, and pickleball accessories—guests can take their game up a notch with custom paddles created exclusively for the property. What's more, the resort has two 18-hole championship golf courses designed by golf legends Arnold Palmer and Nick Faldo, both designed to highlight Arizona's surrounding mountains and century-old cacti. There's also a 140,000-square-foot pool experience called the AquaRidge WaterPark, which features five pools, a lazy river, slides, an adult-only island, and more. Overall, the 950-room resort has 28 event rooms spanning 240,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space; the largest space holds as many as 4,000 people.

The hotel is home to the 100,000-square-foot HealthClub by Hilton, featuring eight indoor tennis courts (the only air-conditioned courts in New Orleans), as well as facilities for pickleball, volleyball, basketball, squash, TRX, Pilates, spin, and more. Guests can take advantage of ball machine rentals, tennis instruction, and even USTA tournaments regularly hosted on-site. The space also includes a full weight room, fitness classes, and two heated outdoor pools, one overlooking the Mississippi River. For events, the property offers more than 130,000 square feet of meeting space, including 55 rooms and a nearly 27,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom that can accommodate up to 3,000 guests.

The historic Los Angeles Athletic Club, the city’s first private club, unveiled a multimillion-dollar renovation project in 2024. The 88,000-square-foot venue, which originally opened in 1880, now boasts a new 10,000-square-foot fitness facility, which features cardio machines, free weights, and a new indoor track surface that overlooks the historic beaux-arts, 25-yard indoor pool. There’s a variety of group fitness classes available, including basketball conditioning, cycling, kickboxing, and yoga; guests can also enjoy handball, squash, and racquetball. Overall, the Los Angeles Athletic Club has 17,000 square feet of meeting and event space, along with extensive co-working spaces, a spa, a nail salon and barbershop, 72 guest rooms, and a rooftop patio and deck.

For a sports-themed twist on a glamorous Las Vegas stay, the Palms Resort Casino offers one-of-a-kind accommodations designed with athletes and fans in mind. The 1,365-room property is home to two standout sports-themed suites: the 4,240-square-foot Kingpin Suite, featuring two regulation bowling lanes right in the living room, and the massive 10,000-square-foot Hardwood Suite, complete with its own private basketball court with Murphy beds (pictured), plus a locker room, pool table, and hidden whiskey room. Both suites also include 24/7 butler service. The resort, which underwent a $600 million renovation in 2022, rounds out its offerings with a 73,000-square-foot, multilevel pool area, 14 movie theaters, a range of meeting spaces, the top-floor Moon View room with a retractable roof, and the elegant Nove room with Swarovski chandeliers. There’s also the 2,000-seat Pearl Theater, available for private concerts, conventions, and live broadcasts.
