The Pacific Electric Building, a national historic landmark, is in downtown Los Angeles. Built in 1905 for the Pacific Electric Railroad and formerly home to the Jonathan Club, it underwent extensive renovations in 2005. The Jonathan Club Penthouse Ballroom offers soaring 40-foot arched ceilings, Chicago-style windows, and spectacular city views. With a combined area of 10,000 square feet, capacity for the large ballroom is 200; for the small ballroom, 90.
