Black Betty BBQ is owned by Madux Hobbs. The original “Black Betty”, a custom-built, 7,600 lb., 3-axle smoker, was primarily designed for neighborhood get togethers and barbecue competitions.
Word quickly spread that Black Betty's enticing flavors couldn't be missed, and the Black Betty brand now includes catering, barbecue sauces, meat rubs, apparel and even a sister restaurant, The Cowboy Cafe.
With business booming, Black Betty BBQ continues to expand, and will soon feature a custom built 45 foot food trailer and unique dining atmosphere in downtown Roswell.
