Monty and Pat Roberts’ Flag Is Up Farms

Home of the internationally acclaimed Monty Roberts, main inspiration for the movie The Horse Whisperer, FIUF offers a refreshing alternative to “corporate events.” Visitors watch as an unstarted horse accepts first saddle, bridle, and rider in less than 30 minutes using Join-Up®, the silent language of the horse. They will take away valuable lessons in how trust-based partnerships work throughout their lives. Afterward, guests adjourn to Roberts’s private home featuring panoramic views of the Santa Ynez Valley. There they discuss the values gleaned during the demonstration, enjoying fine wines and authentic Western BBQ graciously served by Roberts’s personal staff.
