Worlds collide as popular local haunt Professor Thom's has unveiled its 2nd floor lounge, The Professor's Loft. The Loft, which was renovated from a classic 19th Century apartment, features a mahogany and oak bar transplanted from the Mayflower Hotel, 20-foot ceilings, original turn-of-the-century molding, separate VIP entrance, grand chandeliers, and an outside smoking deck overlooking 2nd Avenue. The Loft space holds 250 for receptions or seats 60. Both floors combined hold 500 for receptions or seat 150.
