Grand Prospect Hall

263 Prospect Ave.
Brooklyn, NY 11215

Located for more than a century in Brooklyn's historic Park Slope, the Grand Prospect Hall is the ultimate place to host a wedding or New York City party or event. Guests will experience 1890s glamor from the moment they enter the soaring, gilded lobby that recalls all the splendor of Versailles. Whether the event is for 80 or 2,000, Grand Prospect Hall is where ordinary people come to feel extraordinary, and the famous come to feel like stars.

Memorable Moment

Always a movie set magnet, Grand Prospect Hall was once home to the Crescent Motion Picture Company, and in recent years has been used in movies, commercials, for magazine spreads, music videos, and more.

"My family and I have been to the Grand Prospect Hall on several occasions, attending social functions including weddings, baby christening receptions, and corporate parties. Every time we return, we long to stand in the Grand Ballroom, gazing up in awe at the three rows of balconies intricately carved and reminiscent of opulent concert halls in Vienna. It is a magical setting and experience! The white-glove service, Michelin-star deserving cuisine, Victorian architecture, and fine museum ambience and decor, all make every social function we attend at the Grand Prospect Hall treasured and uniquely remembered. We are eager to return to this rare, fine gem and very best reception hall that stands high on a pedestal above all others we have been to in the New York area and beyond." —Julie R., TripAdvisor
