OLD: Occupying a space known in the ’30s and ’40s as the “back room” of Hollywood’s oldest restaurant, Musso and Frank—where the likes of F. Scott Fitzgerald and William Faulkner held court—the Writer’s Room reopened in 2011, occupying 1,000 square feet off an alley behind the restaurant. Guests enter through discreet steel doors to find a garden patio, with a grand staircase to the main room. The total capacity is 120.
