Located in the historic 179 Franklin Street building in Tribeca, Thalassa was once used as a warehouse for Greek olives and cheeses and is now one of the most authentic Greek eateries in New York City. The venue offers delicious Greek and Mediterranean dishes that includes fresh seafood and organic produce, and it has a dramatic nautical decor that makes it an ideal setting for any event and the ultimate boutique wedding spot.
In December 2017, Thalassa celebrated its 15th anniversary and 39 awards garnered in that time.
"The Hellenic Professional Women Inc. had their Cocktails and Connect event with appetizers and dinner for those who chose to dine. All of the appetizers were delicious and the octopus was exceptional! It was divine. I would return for more delicious memories! The staff and bartenders were very warm and professional. They made our evening enjoyable as well throughout our event. Efcharisto!" —Frederica Bolgouras
