This bi-level cocktail bar and restaurant pays homage to legendary early 20th-century Chicago Cubs pitcher Mordecai Brown, nicknamed "Three Finger." Three-finger pours, craft cocktails, and a full menu of inspired American fare, make the restaurant the new neighborhood destination for cocktail-fueled evenings and exceptional celebrations.
Memorable Moment
Since opening, Mordecai has received many accolades, including: nominated “Best Bar” for the 2019 Jean Banchet Awards, voted Best Bar by Eater Chicago, featured in Chicago Tribune's “18 best foods we ate at Chicago restaurants in 2018," and rated three stars (excellent) by the Chicago Tribune.
Testimonial
"Abetted by a strong beverage program of excellent cocktails and vintage spirits, Mordecai is a complete package, accessible enough for a pre- or postgame bite and sophisticated enough to be a destination when the Cubs are out of town and/or when the season is over." – Phil Vettel, Chicago Tribune
