This bi-level cocktail bar and restaurant pays homage to legendary early 20th-century Chicago Cubs pitcher Mordecai Brown, nicknamed "Three Finger." Three-finger pours, craft cocktails, and a full menu of inspired American fare, make the restaurant the new neighborhood destination for cocktail-fueled evenings and exceptional celebrations.

Since opening, Mordecai has received many accolades, including: nominated “Best Bar” for the 2019 Jean Banchet Awards, voted Best Bar by Eater Chicago, featured in Chicago Tribune's “18 best foods we ate at Chicago restaurants in 2018," and rated three stars (excellent) by the Chicago Tribune.

This fabulous two-story venue includes a private lounge and terrace facing Wrigley Field, providing the right atmosphere for your private events. From birthday parties to corporate outings, cocktail classes, whiskey tastings, and pairing dinners, Mordecai's event team can assist in planning your next private party, tailored to your needs. The various spaces can accommodate 70 seated or 140 standing.
