The Grove hosted its Christmas-tree lighting on November 18. Produced by Mirrored Media and sponsored by Citi, the event was hosted by Molly Sims and featured performances by Andy Grammer, Daya, Lindsey Stirling, and more. More than 25,000 people attended the event, which included fireworks, the arrival of Santa Claus, and the lighting of the 100-foot-tall tree.

For the circus-theme night, roving entertainers included a fire-eating and boa constrictor contortionist, plus a stilt walker. Dancers were made up with exaggerated costuming and hair styling to give them a mad look, and a circus ringleader and a costumed panda greeted guests as they entered the venue.
