The Highline Ballroom, a new performance space inspired by the High Line Park in the Meatpacking district, opened its doors on April 30, 2007, packing its newly renovated structure with hungry fans of the infamous Lou Reed. Since then, the venue has gone on to become one of the premier performance spaces in Manhattan, both to up-and-coming bands and to established acts such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Santana. With a conception to completion approach to its private events, the Highline Ballroom can seat up to 340 guests for seated dinners or accommodate 700 guests for cocktail receptions between its main floor and its semi-private balcony. The modern industrial décor, three 15-foot bars and state of the art, in house-production and A/V make the Highline Ballroom the perfect home for your next corporate event, fundraiser, social function, fashion show or product launch.
