Last Tuesday, the Chicago History Museum unveiled its remodeled North & Clark Cafรฉ. Newly available for private events, the venue can accommodate 80 guests for sit-down dinners or host 120 for receptions.
On the museum's ground level, the cafรฉ comprises two distinct spaces. At the front of the venue, a lounge filled with leather armchairs features a tiled coffee bar. The lounge opens into a bilevel dining room that overlooks Lincoln Park and the Chicago Children's Fountain through floor-to-ceiling windows.
The cafรฉ's daily menu reflects local culinary traditions with items such as the 1893 World's Fair brownie and Chicago-style hot dogs. For private events, consultants from Taste America Catering can create personalized menus.
