Held in the Beaux Arts Court, some 550 guests dined on a menu prepared by Great Performances and sourced from its organic farm. 'The room has so much amazing architecture that I wanted to pare it down, not overtake it,' said Beckman. 'I couldn't really hang anything in the room, so the monoliths are installation-like and that became the video content in the room.' Content was delivered on nine screens rather than a single screen in the past. The Creative Group and N&N Films used the screens, the largest being 30-foot by 20-foot, to create dynamic content that gave a more personal look into the lives of each of the nominees and winners. 'The idea of a mosaic became an important starting point for the night,' said Beckman. 'It truly reflected New York fashion and all its layers.'
