The 2020 ESPY Awards are going virtual. The two-hour broadcast, which will celebrate heroism and humanitarian aid, will air June 21 on ESPN; athletes Russell Wilson, Megan Rapinoe, and Sue Bird will host from their homes. The star-studded sports event had long been held at L.A.'s Microsoft Theatre in July; last year's 5,000-attendee show (pictured) focused on sustainability, inclusivity, and—of course—the United States women's national soccer team, fresh off its World Cup win. “Together Even When We’re Apart,” a new outdoor art collection, is popping up on the streets of Toronto. Works by 11 local artists, encompassing themes of nature and resilience, are produced as extra-large posters and installed at 25 different closed shops and boarded-up sites. Developed by Partial Gallery co-founder Tammy Yiu Coyne and Labour of Love owner Regina Sheung, the project serves to help revitalize the city’s deserted areas, while celebrating the artists working to boost morale during quarantine.
