The 6.3-million-square-foot oceanfront casino Revel opened in April 2012. It’s a glassy, 47-story tower that is the first newly constructed casino to debut here in several years. The complex includes 1,800 guest rooms, 160,000 square feet of indoor event space, and another 90,000 square feet outside—much of it facing Revel’s prime attraction, its private beach. With some 250,000 square feet of event space, Revel’s many venue options range from elegant meeting rooms to grand showplaces.

1. On the ground level, Ocean & Think Tanks is a collection of 20 flexible meeting rooms with access to Ovation Hall on one end and the boardwalk and Revel’s private beach on the other. The largest configuration holds as many as 540; four executive boardrooms seat 20 each.

2. Revel’s 70,000-square-foot showpiece is Ovation Hall, an event and concert venue built around a 15,000-square-foot amphitheater and stage. Groups can book part of the amphitheatre with or without the 30,000-square-foot prefunction space, or reserve the entire venue. In total, Ovation Hall seats 5,500 guests.

3. Accented by pine trees, sand, and ocean views, SkyGarden is Revel’s rooftop garden. Its three outdoor lobbies hold 180, 280, and 320 people for receptions or can be combined for as many as 780. The 20,000-square-foot pool deck—with a pool that begins indoors and continues outside—holds 1,950.

4. The opulent, 50,000-square-foot HQ Nightclub includes a horseshoe-shaped dance floor surrounded by two perimeter bars and plush leather banquettes; a DJ booth and suspended performance stage; and three floor-to-ceiling LED screen panels that backlight the venue. The club, which is available for buyouts, has a capacity of 1,000, or holds as many as 1,200 total with the seasonal outdoor bar and lounge area.

5. At the center of Revel’s nightlife area, the sleek Social presents live bands and entertainment and opens on to the casino floor. The room can be set up for a reception or sit-down event for as many as 500. Overlooking the casino, the private Social Up space on the mezzanine level has its own DJ booth and holds 100.

6. Philadelphia-based celebrity chef Jose Garces expanded into A.C. with Amada, a Spanish tapas restaurant in Revel. The bright, oceanfront dining room has curved banquettes and blond wood tables, plus live flamenco dancing. Menu offerings range from manchego cheese plates to slow-roasted suckling pig. Buyouts hold 150. The private Valencia dining room seats 24; the semiprivate Malaga room seats eight.

7. Set on the casino level, the Row is the resort’s array of retail offerings; it also includes eight connected reception spaces that run through the area that are lined by shops on either side. Plush leather furniture and chandeliers accent each of the reception areas; the largest, the Velvet room, holds as many as 480 for an event.
