Ferrero Canada, the company behind the Kinder Bueno chocolate bar, is taking its new chocolate lounge—and a sampling of desserts—on the road to nightclubs across Toronto and Vancouver this fall. The Kinder Bueno Chocolate Lounge, a promotional display staffed by servers called Bueno Boys, is part of a new advertising campaign aimed at young women.

The lounges—featuring tall Kinder Bueno banners and branded brown and orange throw pillows—will be set up within a designated area in each of the selected venues. All bar patrons will have the opportunity to sample chocolate bars and taste desserts created by Dana McCauley & Associates. Options include Bueno chocolate truffle spread and the Bueno-Misu, a version of tiramisu. The Bueno Boys will also hand out drink tickets for samples of the Bueno-tini, created by the Martini Club.

According to Bueno Canada brand manager Louis Chaffringeon, the concept is centred on the idea of indulgence. "The reason we want to celebrate indulgence is because it goes hand in hand with chocolate for us," Chaffringeon said during a media event and tasting at Ultra Supper Club Tuesday afternoon.

Chaffringeon said the lounge is intended "to enhance or raise the bar for women enjoying a night out" and to take the guilt out of eating chocolate. The Kinder Bueno Chocolate Lounge will be at Circa on October 4, at Ultra on October 10 and 11, and at the Brant House on October 17 and 18.
