The Pritzker Military Library opened in its new location—a newly renovated, 1912 building with views of Millennium Park—in February. The main level can host receptions for 250 and seated dinners for 48. The second level can seat 88 for dinner or hold 200 for a standing reception. The two levels can also be combined to host seated dinners for 136 and receptions for 450.
Two conference rooms are available for rental, with teleconferencing equipment, multimedia projection capabilities, and access to a kitchenette. The southeast conference room can hold meetings for 16; the northeast room can seat 24.
On the main and second levels, the galleries house a permanent medal of honor exhibit and a rotating array of military art. On the walls of both galleries, mounted LCD TV screens can hook up to laptops or DVD players. The second-level gallery can host seated dinners for 88 or theater-style events for 110, while the gallery on the main level can hold dinners for 48. The galleries are close to a full-service catering kitchen.
Suited to keynote speeches, press conferences, film screenings, and panel discussions, a two-story lecture hall and broadcast center can seat 110.
