Berghoff Catering and Restaurant Group's new beer-and-chocolate-themed dinners treat guests to a five-course experience. Executive chef Matt Reichel and executive pastry chef Chon Reynoso create pairings for the meals, which can be customized for as many as 1,000 guests. Possible menu options include roasted-pork tamales with mole sauce served with Berghoff amber; another pairing features fresh honeycomb, plum, and Gorgonzola salad drizzled with white chocolate and lavender vinaigrette paried with Berghoff hefeweizen. Dinners start at $45 per person and can take place at offices, event spaces, or at downtown's Berghoff Restaurant, which has private dining rooms that seat as many as 200 guests.
