1. SCOUT'S HONOR: Madonna, a presenter at the Glaad awards Saturday, wore a boy scout outfit to present Anderson Cooper with an award. Making political statements is likely expected at the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, but the unofficial member of Troop 13 still made waves with her outfit and speech. New York Daily News: http://nydn.us/ZASppT

2. FOIE FOUL: Remember California's ban on foie gras? One Napa Valley restaurant that flouted the law now faces a lawsuit from the Animal Legal Defense Fund. Huffington Post: "La Toque is one of the few, if any, restaurants left in Northern California offering foie gras to customers through a legal loophole. San Francisco's Txoko, which also gave away the goose liver with the purchase of certain menu items, has since closed. And the Presidio Social Club, whose location on federal land exempts it from the statewide ban, stopped serving the dish after pressure mounted from protesters and local officials." http://huff.to/141ycz6

3. AEG STOPS SALE: Sports and entertainment company AEG is no longer for sale, and owner Philip Anschutz announced a new chief executive among other leadership changes. Hollywood Reporter: "AEG put itself up for sale in September, drawing numerous potential suitors. The company's assets include more than three dozen arenas around the world—such as L.A.'s Staples Center, London's O2, and Shanghai's Mercedes-Benz Arena—L.A. Live, the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, and ownership stakes in the L.A. Lakers, Galaxy, and Kings." http://bit.ly/ZQq6pv

4. DANCE TIME: SFX Entertainment, which is developing its company around dance music, received a $10 million investment from advertising firm WPP. New York Times: "Exactly what form sponsorship might take at SFX’s events was unclear. The dance world has largely been run independently, with minimal corporate branding, and that ethos persists even as the genre has become big business. Furthermore, [Robert F.X.] Sillerman said, the classic model of celebrity endorsement is old-fashioned, necessitating more subtle forms of marketing." http://nyti.ms/15fP0hU
