To celebrate its 95th birthday, Saks created a pop-up, luxury carousel at New York’s Rockefeller Center from September 6 to 10. The carousel, which was produced by Endeavor Global Marketing, featured props and imagery inspired by the brand and New York. Street teams handed out special tokens for the carousel to passersby throughout the city a day before it opened.

The second edition of Sephora's Sephoria House of Beauty took place September 7 and 8 at the Shine Auditorium and Expo Hall. The convention featured eye-catching activations and photo ops from beauty brands, plus meet-and-greets and master classes with beauty experts. A mosaic wall promoted the brand's 'We Belong to Something Beautiful' campaign, which promotes diversity and inclusivity; guests were invited to paste photos of themselves on the wall. Sephoria was produced by Mosaic North America, Hargrove, and Vox Group.

Kehoe Designs provided decor for a tented dinner that followed the performance. Some 800 guests sat for dinner in an 80- by 220-foot tent erected on the lawn. The tent was constructed over the course of seven days and was accompanied by a 20- by 110-foot food prep area.

One year after Bud Light introduced the Victory Fridges—which were unlocked at local Cleveland bars when the Browns won their first game in two years—the beer brand reintroduced the fridges in a pop-up store themed after the N.F.L. team. On September 3 and 4, the so-called B.L. & Brown’s Appliance Super Store was decked out in blue and orange and offered fridges that were available for purchase. The pop-up opened with a chain-cutting ceremony led by W.W.E.’s the Miz, former Browns players, Mayor Frank Jackson, and the Bud Knight mascot.

For its 26th year of partnership with the U.S. Open, American Express worked with Momentum Worldwide to create an interactive fan experience at the U.S.T.A. Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The experience pays homage to the sporting event’s home of New York, with a variety of interactive stations that replicate aspects of the city. Stations include Borough Ball, a game of pong that allows fans to become players on a game board, designed to reflect each of New York’s boroughs. Another station features digital murals, designed by Brooklyn-based artist Askew One, where fans can use digital spray paint cans to create their own art.
