Renaissance Atlanta Midtown

Renaissance Atlanta Midtown is cooking up something bold with The Centennial Collection, a complete transformation of the old Rowdy Tiger open rooftop into a polished, closed-in private event concept. Renovation price tag? $5 million. The Midtown Atlanta hotel features the elegantly reimagined Centennial Ballroom, accommodating up to 418 guests, along with the versatile Centennial Park breakout space. Opened in July, the 4,120 square feet of space is already booking. So get in early. More details are emerging, but our curiosity is piqued.

Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead

After a top-to-bottom renovation, Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead is serving fresh luxury and serious meeting mojo. Partnering with DLR Group and designONE studios, this Buckhead beauty now features 42,000+ square feet of elevated event space, plus chic new guest rooms and a lobby that makes attendees want to linger. The refreshed Grand Ballroom evokes elegant design and cutting-edge technology, accommodating up to 1,000 guests. The Fabled, a new literary-inspired cocktail lounge that feels like a novel you never want to end, overlooks a waterfall and Zen garden. Then there's Le Petit Chef at Cassis Restaurant, a 3D culinary theater that’s basically dinner and a show with a 2-inch-tall animated chef. Bonus: Cassis restaurant offers Mediterranean elegance with views of the Zen garden too, for when attendees need to recharge after all-day sessions.

Willow Garden at Kimpton Sylvan Atlanta - Buckhead

A garden party themed event... but make it private. Situated off Kimpton Sylvan’s glam lobby, Willow Garden is now a lush, bookable oasis for events up to 125 guests. The space has transitioned from the property’s outdoor restaurant to a 6,300-square-foot private event space. Full buyouts or semiprivate chef’s table experiences for 20? You pick. It’s all framed by greenery, with a covered patio, curated cocktails, and plenty of Buckhead charm. Inside, the Camellia Ballroom (1,900 square feet) is gala-ready, while the Gingko and Dogwood rooms cater to smaller, intimate affairs of under 20. Don’t sleep on the hospitality suite—retro-chic and patio-equipped, it’s perfect for cozy pre-events and for product launches under 50 guests.

SCAD Film Studios Atlanta

The building that once broadcasted the 1996 Olympics from Atlanta is now an uber hip event venue for the film-inspired. From a 75-seat digital theater to LED stages and lobbies that scream modern art museum, SCAD Film Studios Atlanta is made for launches, panels, screenings, and more. Outside catering is welcome, but heads up: There’s no alcohol license. So mocktails and soda will have to do. On the plus side, the event space does have a private free parking garage attached to the building for its four event spaces: Studio A can hold up to 50 on risers or in seats. While the LED stage and S Level Lobby (pictured) can each hold 50 seats for a demo or presentation. The Digital Theater is perfect for hosting screenings, panels, or virtual classes and can seat up to 75 for an event.

Satolah Creek Farm

Design meets nature meets “why not stay for a few days after the summit?” Tucked in the Blue Ridge foothills, this indoor-outdoor venue is in Clayton, Ga., near Highlands, N.C. Satolah Creek Farm is a 45-acre wonderland of fire pits, forest trails, and creatively restored barns begging to host your next leadership retreat, team-building event, or celebration. It’s two hours from Atlanta, and lodging for 20+ makes it perfect for multiday events. The artist-educator owners with serious design pedigree have given every inch their personal touch. It's a high-end rustic event space with soul, and it’s just getting started after opening last year.

SK8 THE ROOF

A 3,000-square-foot, covered outdoor roller skating rink perched 10 stories above Atlanta’s iconic Ponce City Market opened in mid-June. SK8 THE ROOF is inspired by the carefree spirit of summer and classic '80s nostalgia with bright colors and graffiti. Perfect for team building, themed events, or product launches, THE ROOF will begin hosting a nightly laser show after sunset as well. 9 Mile Station, 12 Cocktail Bar, and Skyline Park are all a stone’s throw from the rink and can host 25 to 500 people in private or semiprivate event spaces.

SCADShow

Now serving event space, screens, and sips. With a newly cleared alcohol permit, SCADShow is leveling up its event offerings. They still can’t sell alochol, but open bars or passed drinks are now allowed. This sleek Midtown gem includes two theaters, multiple spacious prefunction spaces, built-in bars, and one seriously curated furniture collection that is all the decor you’ll need. You can bring in your own AV partner, screen your latest content, host Q&As for 130, or set up branded concessions. A full production team is on hand, and there’s even a massive digital courtyard screen for big outdoor branding moments. Risers can be used or pushed back for more space. A full catering kitchen is on the second floor, a grand lobby on the third floor, and a smaller fourth floor that’s still seriously chic.

Skewed Orbit Studios

Reimagined from its LA roots, Skewed Orbit Studios is now a flexible creative hub in Atlanta's Studioplex in Old Fourth Ward. Run by a husband-and-wife comedian duo, the space functions as a podcast studio, comedy club, workshop zone, and rentable event venue. It’s ideal for product launches, branded content shoots, thought-leader panels, corporate meetings, or immersive pop-ups. Skewed Orbit is gaining buzz as one of Atlanta’s most original creative production environments, where the space evolves with every event. There are full-day and half-day booking options, seven days a week. Outside food and catering are allowed, and a PA system and microphones are available, as well as event chairs, a mobile bar, podiums, a green screen, and cocktail tables. This 2,100-square-foot venue is your dream sandbox for up to 75 people. Oh, and BYO catering.

Chico Cantina

Town Brookhaven has a bold newcomer. Opened in May, Chico Cantina by chef Mimmo Alboumeh is bringing the fiesta with a fusion of Mexican and American eats served up in a 4,200-square-foot stunner of a space that's available for buyouts. Expect 30+ TVs, a cobalt blue bar that demands selfies from attendees, a heated patio for alfresco events, and serious culinary chops. Mimmo is behind sister restaurant Botica too. The space is perfect for high-energy client mixers or private events that want to ditch the stiff dress code.
