Here's a closer look at Atlanta's newest eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms, and other spaces available for events this spring. The new and renovated Atlanta area venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings, and more.

Trilith Guesthouse
Trilith Guesthouse
Trilith Guesthouse, a new 193-room boutique hotel, is a member of Marriott International’s Tribute Portfolio of independent boutique hotels, and it opened in January with amenities and event spaces in Fayetteville, Ga. Adjacent to Trilith Studios, the second-largest film and television studio in North America, the property boasts an array of offerings to suit diverse event needs. Guests can indulge in culinary delights at Prologue Dining & Drinks or sip cocktails with panoramic views at the rooftop Oliver’s Twist Bar & View. The Main Stage Ballroom, spanning 3,432 square feet with striking wall-to-ceiling arches, accommodates up to 350 guests and sets the stage for grand events. For more intimate gatherings or team-building sessions, The Kitchen provides a captivating space centered around a large kitchen island, complete with state-of-the-art Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances. The Gallery offers flexible meeting space for up to 75 people, conveniently accessible from the street, while The Studio, a fifth-floor boardroom, provides an elegant setting for intimate affairs. Glass doors lead from The Studio to an outdoor terrace boasting picturesque views, while The Pavilion, spanning 2,535 square feet, offers a versatile outdoor venue enveloped by lush landscaping and overlooking a serene lake, ideal for year-round events, whether open-air or tented.

Signia by Hilton Atlanta
Signia by Hilton Atlanta
In the heart of downtown Atlanta stands the city's first newly constructed hotel in four decades. Offering sweeping vistas of Mercedes-Benz Stadium and seamless access to the Georgia World Congress Center via a convenient pedestrian walkway, the 42-story Signia by Hilton Atlanta is poised to delight event attendees. Boasting a grand total of 976 guest rooms and over 100,000 square feet of meeting and event space, this impressive establishment officially opened its doors in January. Notably, an almost all-female pastry team adds a unique touch to the culinary experience. With eight F&B experiences on site, event planners can choose from a diverse array of dining options or event spaces for breakout dinners or special moments. Situated in close proximity to Atlanta's major tourist attractions, Signia by Hilton Atlanta is primed for attendees who want authentic access to a cityscape right out the front door.

Bridge Creek Inn
Bridge Creek Inn
Bridge Creek Inn, a recently refurbished boutique hotel operated by The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG), officially debuted in North Georgia’s Rabun County, less than two hours from Atlanta. With IRHG's prominent presence in Atlanta (Colletta, Oak Steakhouse, O-Ku), the connection between the two entities is palpable. Set in the serene foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the inn emerged in December 2023 following an extensive expansion and renovation of its historic premises, originally erected in the early 1900s. Positioned on downtown Clayton’s Main Street, the inviting lobby welcomes guests with a rotating display of local artwork and a captivating “history wall” adorned with photographs chronicling the hotel's storied past. Offering 45 rooms, including a lavish suite for execs or VIPs, Bridge Creek Inn envelops guests and attendees in an atmosphere of earthy sophistication. The centerpiece of its spaces is the Main Ballroom, which hosts up to 180 people and is ideal for corporate events, weddings, and other celebrations. Beyond the lobby and ballroom, a 1,000-square-foot patio and 4,000 square feet of lawn beckon visitors to unwind amid the breathtaking backdrop of nearby lakes, scenic hiking trails, cascading waterfalls, and quaint downtown boutiques, ensuring a truly unforgettable retreat.

Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead
Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead
Renovations commenced at Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead for its first- and second-floor event spaces last year, culminating in the majority of updates being finalized by January. Among the enhancements, the luxury hotel's 10 meeting rooms on the second floor underwent a comprehensive makeover, embracing a warm, neutral color palette to infuse the spaces with a bright and airy ambiance. Drawing inspiration from the design cues of the recently rejuvenated Presidential Suite, these meeting rooms now offer a seamless blend of sophistication and comfort. Meanwhile, the first-floor ballroom, formerly known as Taipan, renowned for its hosting of Waldorf's signature high teas and midsize meetings with picturesque views of the hotel's green space, is slated for a transformative overhaul set to be unveiled by spring 2024. Anticipate an eclectic fusion of bold colors, textures, and art deco accents, all accentuated by the serene backdrop of the private English garden. Moreover, this space will undergo an expansion, boosting its seating capacity from 100 to 140, ensuring an even more enchanting setting for gatherings and events.

Birdcage
Birdcage
Birdcage is the second offering from chef Leslie Cohen of Firepit Pizza Tavern with Shaun Whitmer at the helm of the kitchen. Cohen has won Cutthroat Kitchen and was a protégée of chef Richard Blais. She’s incredibly supportive of both her community and of LGBTQ+ organizations. This Latin food restaurant opened in February in a 3,000-square-foot historic building, joining Grant Park Market, Woodward and Park, and Full Commission at the Grant Park complex. It's perfect for event planners with LGBTQ+ events who need friendly spaces. The owners are open to full buyouts and private dinners as the space seats 90 people comfortably. We *heart* that the space was inspired by The Birdcage, the ’90s movie set in South Beach starring Robin Williams and Nathan Lane.

PLANTA
PLANTA
In December 2023, PLANTA expanded its footprint with a second Atlanta location in Buckhead, delighting patrons with its 100% plant-based culinary offerings. For event attendees, stepping into PLANTA is akin to embarking on a journey through elegant traditional Chinese courtyards and architectural marvels from across Asia. The innovative menu showcases a diverse array of dishes inspired by local cuisine and seasonal ingredients, promising a culinary adventure. PLANTA's spacious interior boasts two fully private dining spaces, along with a generously lit dining room suffused with natural light. Event planners seeking exclusive experiences will find PLANTA amenable to full venue buyouts or area buyouts, with options to reserve the bar area, west patio, or south patio, ensuring a tailored setting for memorable gatherings.

Bar Blanc
Bar Blanc
Bar Blanc debuted in the former JCT. Kitchen space in West Midtown in November 2023, bringing a continuation of the French theme from its downstairs neighbor, Little Sparrow. However, Bar Blanc offers a more intimate setting with a livelier ambiance for event planners. While Little Sparrow exudes charm and sophistication, Bar Blanc adds a touch of sassiness to the mix, described by owner-chef Ford Fry as "slightly more rebellious in nature." Planners can buy out both spaces together or this chic upstairs lounge by itself. Guests enjoy outdoor seating with views of the train tracks or sink into plush velvet couches near the bar. Banquettes and cafe tables provide options for savoring cocktails, wine, and a menu featuring steak and bowls of thick-cut french fries. The space holds 28 guests seated for a buyout, or 40 for a cocktail-style reception.

Politan Row at Ashford Lane
Politan Row at Ashford Lane
Politan Row at Ashford Lane is a new space that opened in February and presents a versatile array of private event spaces catering to gatherings of 25 to 500 guests. It’s all complemented by an extensive selection of catering options from its diverse range of vendors and bars, mirroring the offerings of its popular sister property Politan Row at Colony Square’s Blue Room. The entirety of Politan Row at Ashford Lane's hall can be exclusively reserved for buyouts, encompassing Okay Anny's and the Green Room. This arrangement is particularly well suited for larger parties ranging from 200 to 500 attendees. For more intimate affairs accommodating 25 to 75 guests, the Green Room provides a semiprivate setting complete with its own bar and separate, protected space, albeit not entirely soundproof. Fully private events for groups between 200 and 500 guests entail reserving the entire space, allowing for a seamless experience tailored to the occasion. Such events lend themselves admirably to station-oriented dining, enabling guests to sample offerings from various vendors based on their preferences and budgetary considerations.

AltaToro
AltaToro
In bustling Midtown Atlanta, AltaToro emerges as a dynamic hub for contemporary Latin cuisine, weaving together a vibrant tapestry of flavors from the streets of Cuba to the serene landscapes of Argentina. AltaToro is from the team behind 5 Church Atlanta and 5 Church Buckhead. They specialize in private dining experiences and are meticulously tailored to suit the needs of corporate functions, social galas, and philanthropic affairs. Whether it's an intimate soiree or a grand celebration for up to 170 esteemed guests, the covered and heated patio seats 64 or 100 standing. A full restaurant buyout seats 170 and allows for 250 people standing. No matter how large the event, all attendees will be wowed by a breathtaking 16-foot-tall custom tree made of scrap metal, a testament to artistic brilliance by Atlanta-based Jonathan Imafidor. The anchor is complemented by a striking 13-foot-long Huichol piece from Mexico City, infusing the space with cultural richness. The space’s expansive 1,000-square-foot patio, complete with adjustable garage doors, offers a versatile outdoor setting, providing an enchanting backdrop.

The Escape Game Westside
The Escape Game Westside
The Escape Game, which includes several different escape room themes, including a new one called "Cosmic Crisis," is now open at The Interlock in West Midtown. The 4,172-square-foot facility is the second in Atlanta and includes five different escape room themes, including a sixth game called “Special Ops: Mysterious Market” coming soon. This space offers memorable team building for those convening at the Bellyard or other event spaces like Rooftop LOA next door. The Escape Game allows attendees to find clues, solve puzzles, and complete a mission. Each escape game has multiple rooms to explore for up to eight players. Planners can choose from a variety of themes and difficulties, and there are options for team-building packages and events for up to 40 players at a time.
