LAS VEGAS—When the FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX returns to the Strip this November, so too does one of the weekend’s most coveted viewing and dining destinations: Bellagio Fountain Club. Scheduled for Nov. 20–22, 2025, this ultra-luxury venue merges the adrenaline of Formula 1® with Bellagio’s signature elegance and attention to detail.
From the outside, it’s an unforgettable culinary experience. Behind the scenes, it’s a massive—and meticulously executed—event production effort.
Bellagio Fountain Club was born from a desire to create memorable event experiences and get fans engaged with Formula 1® in Las Vegas. The goal wasn’t just to provide a premium vantage point, but to create a setting that fuses the city’s hospitality legacy with the pulse-pounding energy of race weekend.
“The Fountain Club is designed as a luxury venue to entertain about 3,600 guests,” says Victoria Chivers, Vice President of Catering & Convention Services at MGM Resorts. “It’s roughly the size of three football fields and is built partially into Lake Bellagio, overlooking The Fountains and offering an unmatched view of the F1® track. It’s really one of the most unique hospitality builds out there.” Photo: MGM Resorts
Launched in 2023 and expanded in scope each year, Bellagio Fountain Club has continued to grow in both scale and stature—selling out its first two years and expanding its programming to include more celebrity chefs, entertainment, and luxury-driven amenities.
What makes the venue particularly remarkable is the scale and speed of its execution. The temporary structure is fully built, operated, and dismantled over a tight timeline, with no traditional run-throughs or rehearsals. “It’s really the equivalent of building a 3,600-seat restaurant,” Chivers explains. “It goes up for three days and then is taken down—but it still demands the same level of attention you’re going to find at any of our luxury dining establishments.”
The effort spans at least 15 verticals across MGM Resorts, from design and facilities to culinary and mixology. Nearly 500 MGM Resorts employees and volunteers are involved in staffing and supporting the weekend. Photo: MGM Resorts
Design-wise, Bellagio Fountain Club combines sleek aesthetics with intentional guest experience planning. Rooftop decks and multi-level hospitality areas are positioned for sweeping views of both the track’s longest straightaway and the iconic Fountains of Bellagio.
“The building is wall-to-wall windows,” notes Elly Rivera, MGM Resorts International’s Executive Director of Business Development and Sales for MGM Resorts Event Productions, the company’s division responsible for producing and supporting major events. “Inside, it’s very plush and luxurious and feels like a very high-end restaurant. But you can also look one way and see The Fountains of Bellagio, and look the other direction and see the track just feet away. The roar of the engines racing by is a rush of energy you have to feel to fully understand.”
Chivers agrees. “There’s no other F1® environment like it,” she says. “You’re surrounded by energy on both sides.” Photo: MGM Resorts
Beyond the unique setting, food plays a defining role in the Fountain Club’s identity. In 2024, more than 25 chefs participated in the weekend-long program, serving 83 unique menu items. Each chef prepares and serves their signature dishes in person, creating a dynamic, constantly rotating culinary experience.
Past collaborators have included José Andrés, Mario Carbone, David Chang, Masaharu Morimoto, and Jean-Georges Vongerichten, among others. “Honestly, we don’t have to reach out to them anymore—they come to us,” says Chivers of the big-name chefs. “The chefs are very active around F1®, and many of them want to be involved in Bellagio Fountain Club because it’s such a cool environment and experience.” Photo: MGM Resorts
Technology and entertainment are also central to the guest experience. The venue includes 60 television monitors positioned throughout, ensuring guests never miss a moment of the race. There are also interactive features like two DJ booths, multiple F1® race simulators, and a “reaction challenge” station where guests can test their reflexes.
Other highlights? The space features race ambassadors—MCs provided through F1® partnerships—who broadcast live throughout the venue. In 2024, producers also introduced F1®-themed projection mapping on Bellagio’s Fountains and coordinated a show stopping bottle presentation: Champagne and the F1® trophy were delivered by boat from the Bellagio’s Mayfair Supper Club dock.
So, what’s on deck for 2025? While many details and surprises are still under wraps, the focus remains on refining what guests already love about the Bellagio Fountain Club: top-tier hospitality, acclaimed chefs, and high-energy design. “Ultimately, our goal was to make it a premier race weekend destination, offering exclusive access for our VIP guests, with track views that are unparalleled,” says Chivers. “We’ve done just that.”
