Here's a closer look at Atlanta's newest eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms, and other spaces available for events this fall. The new and renovated Atlanta-area venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings, and more.
Hotel Granada

Midtown recently got a swoonworthy property with the arrival of Hotel Granada, a boutique hotel that screams old Hollywood glamour with a splash of Miami flair. Opened in August, this 100-year-old building has been lovingly restored to offer a stylish blend of nostalgia and modernity. The crown jewel? Pom Court, a lush courtyard and indoor restaurant straight out of a 1950s movie set. Perfect for swanky outdoor events, this space feels like a secret garden oasis in the heart of Atlanta. Expect it to accommodate both intimate gatherings and larger crowds with ease. If your event requires a “hidden retreat” vibe, May Peel, located on the club level, is a dimly lit haven ideal for private events where guests can sip craft cocktails and feel like they're in on a little secret. The hotel’s three small conference spaces offer state-of-the-art tech and customizable layouts for flexible event planning. Plus, with 120 stylish guest rooms, your out-of-town attendees can crash in serious comfort. Aparium Hotel Group operates 11 hotels around the country and knows how to do luxury right, and its Granada addition is no exception.

Author’s Den

Over at Hyatt Centric Midtown Atlanta, they’ve taken things up a notch with a full renovation and a fresh new vibe for Author’s Den, the in-house restaurant led by executive chef Celso Pinto. If you haven’t tried his crispy pork belly and Brazilian tapioca cheese fritters yet, your attendees are missing out. This space is steeped in literary history too, situated across from the Margaret Mitchell House, where Gone with the Wind was written. Need a semi-buyout for a smaller group? Done. Full buyout for a big bash? Absolutely. The restaurant seats 65 but opens up to The Strip, boosting the capacity to 200. With floor-to-ceiling windows flooding the space with natural light and a killer view of Midtown Atlanta, Author’s Den has that perfect mix of charm and modernity that’s begging for a corporate dinner or cocktail party. Hyatt Centric’s 194 rooms and four conference spaces also make this a no-brainer for multiday conferences or meetings.

Bocado

West Midtown’s beloved Bocado is heading OTP (that’s “outside the perimeter” for the uninitiated) and setting up shop in Sandy Springs, bringing its famous craft vibe with it. The 1,200-square-foot space will feature an attached patio that’s perfect for outdoor events, with the interior offering a more intimate setting. Planners will find seating for 16 at the bar, plus cozy leather booths and sleek six-top tables. If you’re planning a smaller, more laid-back event, Bocado’s new location offers that same creative, farm-to-table feel but with a fresh suburban twist. It's available for full and semi-full buyouts.

The Boathouse at Lake Lanier Olympic Park

For a stunning waterfront venue right outside of Atlanta, look to the new Boathouse at Lake Lanier Olympic Park. After a major renovation in early 2024, this 50,000-square-foot campus is ready for its close-up, with an 8,400-square-foot ballroom that can be divided for smaller events or used as one grand space for up to 600 guests. The Boathouse offers everything from cozy nooks by stone fireplaces to a covered veranda and terrace with jaw-dropping lake views. Pro tip: It’s the perfect blend of elegant lake house charm and modern amenities. Originally built for the 1996 Olympics, the venue was slated for demolition but got a second lease on life—and now it’s poised to be one of the region’s top spots for weddings, corporate retreats, and fundraisers.
