With the Celtics, Red Sox, and Patriots all at the top of their leagues, Boston has never been more sports-crazy. These new bars offer spaces where you can take it all in.

1. Loaded with sports memorabilia from the old Boston Garden arena, DJ’s at the Garden opened in the West End in February 2008. The bar, popular for serving more than 70 types of beer, also offers a menu of typical pub grub like wings and ribs. A 75-seat private space separated from the rest of the bar by drapes includes a pool table, 26 TVs, and a DJ hookup.

2. Open since March 2008 in the West End, Johnnie’s on the Side offers two private rooms for game viewing—one holds 10 people, the other 15. The rest of the 400-seat restaurant is filled with photographs and other sports-related mementos collected by co-owner John Caron, a former property manager at Fenway Park. The eclectic menu, which includes gnocchi, haddock and clams, and Reuben sandwiches, represents the immigrants who used to live in the neighborhood.

3. Named for America’s first pre-Prohibition sports bar, McGreevy’s opened in April 2008 in the Back Bay. The bilevel bar has a private lounge and game room on the lower level that hold 60, and semiprivate spaces on the upper level can accommodate as many as 200. The bar’s menu is heavy on Irish fare like fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, and Guinness chicken wings.
