Last night the 15,000-square-foot mySpa retreat, which originally opened in July inside the InterContinental Hotel Miami, invited 250 special guests to celebrate its official grand opening. The unisex facility, which encompasses the plaza level of the hotel, boasts 10 treatment rooms (including two duet suites), men's and women's relaxation lounges, and a fitness studio.
"In our quest for the most unique spa offerings, we explored the four corners of the world inspiring mySpa, a top-quality, go-to spot for beauty and relaxation," says Jack Miller, general manager of the hotel.
In addition to guided tours, guests were treated to mini-spa treatments and VeeV cocktails before retreating to the pool deck. There, DJ Irie entertained with his modern mixes before Miller presented a $5,000 donation to the Alonzo Mourning Charities, which also received a 10 percent donation from every spa appointment booked that night.
As the evening concluded, the group headed to The Forge for the official after-party.
