Here's a closer look at Miami/South Florida's newest eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms and other spaces available for events this spring. The new and renovated Miami/South Florida venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings and more.

A note regarding COVID-19: Some of the venues listed here may not yet be available for hosting events due to the pandemic, or they may be operating at a lower capacity.

THRoW Social Delray Beach
THRoW Social Delray Beach
This unique experiential entertainment venue based in Delray Beach opened in January and features an abundance of social games (think: darts, warp hole, ping-pong and hatchet throwing), chef-driven cuisine, a mixologist-led beverage program and live music. The newest creative endeavor from The Ginger Companies, THRoW Social Delray Beach, is a 12,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor space—with the largest covered, dog-friendly (if needed), open-air patio in downtown Delray Beach—that boasts tropical-patterned walls, colorful gathering nooks and splashes of neon with fun black-and-white-striped cabanas throughout. A full stage, AV offerings and a massive video wall are also available for special event usage. A fun twist for birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties and rehearsal dinners? Lounges and VIP private cabanas each span 100 square feet, perfect for intimate celebrations for up to 10 guests, with pricing beginning at $400 on weekdays.

Batch New Southern Kitchen & Tap
Batch New Southern Kitchen & Tap
Long-awaited Batch New Southern Kitchen & Tap touched down in Fort Lauderdale’s Flagler Village in December. Multiple small and large areas can be made private or non-private for various events of all kinds—from corporate events and fundraisers to receptions, cocktail parties, happy hours and specialty events—ranging from 200 indoors to 200 outdoors. Bagatelle Miami
Bagatelle Miami
Opened in January, French designer Sam Baron drew inspiration from existing art deco interiors for the 4,000-square-foot Bagatelle Miami, located adjacent to the Ritz-Carlton, South Beach. Despite the inherent opulence from the original structure, the overall decor was designed to create a homey, welcoming experience. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by lush vegetation, where a circular bar surrounds an olive tree evoking Mediterranean al fresco dining. The high ceilings of the main dining room are emphasized by floor-to-ceiling curtains and statement brass chandeliers and sconces. Alcoves with soft tones of subtle blues are adorned with vibrant artworks from artists including Pascal Lièvre, lending an intimate and unique dinner setting (there’s also a salon available for more privacy). From sea bass carpaccio to beef tartare to caviar service, French Mediterranean fare is helmed by Rocco Seminara and Jimmy de Almeida and pairs with fine wines, Champagnes and seasonal fruity cocktails. Be it a birthday party or a private dinner, Bagatelle Miami is available for private events of 180 seated or 250 standing, with prices ranging from $5,000-$75,000.

Holly Blue
Holly Blue
Holly Blue is an upscale eatery that first illuminated Fort Lauderdale’s bustling Flagler Village in December. The 6,300-square-foot venue is segmented into four different spaces, and different nooks for guests to explore and enjoy lends to the space's character. Upon entry, Marvin’s Room—decorated in brass, leather and wood accents—is a tribute to old-school hangouts, while main dining area, dubbed The Grand Room, is colored with flamingo-pink walls and custom peacock-teal upholstery. A white, marble-top bar sits below a brushed brass upper bar that leads the eye to the arched ceiling. The third concept, The Veranda, is a 1,200-square-foot space offering outdoor seating and a bar area. Finally, The Green is a full-service outdoor cocktail area decorated with chic umbrellas and fiberglass-spun furniture. Specialty pours, an adventurous wine list and an elevated American-fusion menu round out the offerings, with Saturday and Sunday brunch in tow debuting this month. Holly Blue is available for both private and semi-private events of up to 220 guests, including corporate gatherings, conferences, client meetings, weddings, galas and more. Buyout pricing varies based on beverage packages and tiered prix-fixe dinner menu options.

The Collins Room
The Collins Room
A new, 9,000-square-foot fine-dining establishment nestled inside iconic The Bath Club, The Collins Room opened in February to reignite the spirt of the Miami Beach jet-set era of the ‘50s and ‘60s. The concept unfolds into an evening out that embraces a proper cocktail, elevated eats and a glamorous-yet-friendly setting. Signature elements of the dining room’s historic mystique include art deco crown-molded ceilings and terrazzo flooring, which have been preserved by local design firm Antrobus & Ramirez, which reimagined the former club’s 1920s cafeteria. Classic and innovative American fare spans from chilled seafood towers and Kaluga caviar, to pineapple jalapeño snapper ceviche, to Peking-style chicken. Tableside martini carts offer a swanky cocktail experience, while decadent dark chocolate fondue satiates any sweet tooth. The Collins Room is available for intimate dinners, engagement parties and private corporate events of 52 guests, and buyouts start at $10,000.
